April 19, 2005 - The Milwaukee Brewers lost their fifth game in a row today. Milton Bradley hit a two-run shot in the 10th inning Tuesday completing his dominant two-day performance against the Brewers. The night before Bradley hit two homers, his second of the night putting the game out of reach of the late Brewers rally.
Today was different as the Brewers bats came alive behind the pitching of Gary Glover. The Brewers sparked to life in the 4th inning when Chris Magruder homered to deep right scoring Carlos Lee and Damian Miller. Lyle Overbay also contributed with a three-run double. The 6 runs looked like they would hold until the Dodgers rallied in the 7th inning.
Closer Mike Adams melted again in the 9th when Ricky Ledee singled with one out. He later advanced on a passed-ball and scored two-hitters later when Cesar Iztruis singled to left field. The Brewers would lose in the 10th inning on Bradley's homer.
